Kirsten
I am a direct-entry midwife licensed by the state of AK. I provide care for women wishing to have their babies out of the hospital.

Before starting my work as a midwife, I worked both as a doula (www.dona.org) and a Bradley Natural Childbirth Educator (www.bradleybirth.com). I want to help women to birth, in the way that they wish, with the least amount of intervention possible. Women should birth surrounded by people who love them. The surroundings and atmosphere of a birth should be chosen by the laboring woman so that she can fully relax and allow the birth to unfold.

My services include:

Family centered births. Prenatal care is focused on creating low risk pregnancies through nutrition, information and careful monitoring.

  • Lab Work
